Some truths are older than the gods who carried them.

In a world where ancient rituals dissolve and kingdoms fracture, belief has become a fragile thing, worn thin, passed down in whispers, and slowly lost. Into this unraveling, Yama and Nyima are called. Not by choice, but by something older than choice, a path woven with wrathful deities, spiritual debts, and a fate neither of them wished to inherit.

This is a story about power that corrodes, faith that survives, and two souls learning what it means to carry something they never asked for.
